Rethinking the home dashboard

Early dashboards optimised for control: every toggle, every device, one tap away. Useful, but overwhelming. We realised people don't want more controls — they want more confidence that things are fine.

So we inverted the layout. Status first, controls second. The home tells you what matters before it offers you a hundred switches.

It is a subtle shift, but it changed how people feel when they open the app: less like a cockpit, more like a glance out the window.
